Remember the time
the way I
was and
you were
the icestorm and the way
we went to sleep with
the ice trying to find
its way into us
tap click tap
on the storms now
down for the season
don't stay up too late
you always said I
just was
lost a minute
dreaming about
being light and
alive the breeze
making tiny shifts
we saw them
your heart
my heart
there weren't words
just the memory
of a time in the grasses
and the joy
you remember
us and that time
tonight the icestorm is come
and coats us thick
here I come
up the stairs
not too late.

Take two:
Your last two posts have been tip-top.
They make me look at my work with disgust and humiliation.
Betsy-
FYI, that's the highest compliment Ty can give.
High praise, indeed.
